3rd Line Support Engineer

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a 2nd/3rd Line Engineer on a permanent basis for our fast growing business based in Congleton.

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum Plus Benefits, (£5k car allowance and annual bonus)

Location: Congleton

• Skills/Requirements for the 2nd/3rd Line Engineer:
• Previous experience working at a similar level
• Ability to be the escalation point for the service desk team
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory skills
• Experience of networking such as: LAN, WAN, VLAN and DNC/DHCP
• Knowledge of Wireless products such as Meraki, Aruba or other wireless products
• Office 365 experience
• Experience of supporting Azure, even at a basic level is required

Highly desirable

• Previously worked as a Field Engineer
• Microsoft certification
• A desire to become a leader within an IT team

The 2nd/3rd Line Engineer will be responsible for:

• Being the escalation point for other members of staff in the Service Desk team
• Going out to client sites to perform upgrades, implementations and maintenance of IT kit
• Delivering projects on time and on budget, sometimes with other members of staff sometimes alone
• Providing a friendly and helpful face of the business to our clients
• Leading the IT team when the manager is out of the office
• A Driving licence is required for this role.
