Cloud Telecoms Engineer

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an Cloud Telecoms Engineer on a permanent basis for a fast growing and prestigious business based in Manchester.

Location: Manchester

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum

Skills/Requirements for the Cloud Telecoms Engineer:

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Previous Cloud telephony experience
• Experience in PBX SIP VOIP support and implementation.
• Experience in billing and NGN platform management.
• Be passionate about technology and telecommunications
• ITIL experience.

Start date is ASAP for the Cloud Telecoms Engineer

The Telecoms Engineer will be responsible for:

• To ensure that the Telecoms Manager are kept informed of progress and of major problems and/or issues in a timely manner
• To be a key member of the cloud telephony project team
• Responsibility for supporting and maintaining the company’s Telecommunications services
• To provide billing support regarding 3rd party suppliers.
• Resolving telecommunications related faults quickly and efficiently.
• Innovation and Continual Service Improvements.
• To be pro-active in suggesting and proposing new technologies to support the businesses.
• Identify on-going improvements to existing business systems
• Administration of key Telecommunications services
• Work collaboratively with team members and support functions to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Proactively monitor Telecommunication services
• Take ownership, investigate and resolve escalated tickets
• Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers and equipment.
